ComputeHub Non-payment policy

Updated 8/1/22

Once you run out of credit

Once you run out of credit, your instances will be shut down and you will lose access to most sections of the ComputeHub platform with the exception of the billing tab where you can update your billing information, view current charges, and view past invoices. You will have 48 hours to add a valid payment method before the next steps of the policy take place.

48 hours after you run out of credit

If a valid payment method isn’t added within 48 hours, your instances and networks could be deleted. All other resources will remain as-is.

7 days after credit runs out

If a valid payment method has still not been added 7 days after running out of credit, all additional resources such as storage volumes, images, templates, etc.

30 days after credit runs out

After 30 days of no payment method added, your account could be deactivated and any remaining data/resources could be deleted.

Emailed invoices

If you do not have a valid payment method added at the end of the billing period (end of each month), you will receive an invoice with a link to pay. You will receive up to two more reminders to pay before the invoice becomes overdue. You can pay this invoice by following the link in the email. After the invoice is paid, you will still need to add a valid credit card payment in the ComputeHub platform to regain full access to all functionality.

$1 charge when adding payment method

When you do add a payment method in the ComputeHub platform, there will be a $1 charge to that payment method for validation. If the validation is successful, the $1 will be added to your account in the form of a $1 credit. Anytime the payment is updated, this $1 validation will occur.
